An all-inclusive Umrah package covers everything you need for the pilgrimage in one booking: return flights from the UK, hotel stays in both Makkah and Madinah, Umrah visa processing, and airport transfers. Most of our packages also include guided Ziyarat tours and 24/7 support, so you can focus on worship instead of logistics.
Umrah packages from the UK start at £679 per person and rise with hotel star rating, trip length, flight class, and travel season. As a guide:
Prices are highest during Ramadan and school holidays, and lowest in off-peak months. Booking 3–6 months early secures the best rates and hotel choice.
We're a UK-registered travel agency (Travixum Ltd, company no. 13555073) that has arranged Umrah for British pilgrims since 2013. Here's what sets us apart:
We arrange Umrah departures from all major UK airports, including London Heathrow (LHR), London Gatwick (LGW), Manchester (MAN), Birmingham (BHX), Glasgow (GLA), and others. Airlines on these routes include Saudia, British Airways, and Turkish Airlines, with both direct and connecting options to Jeddah, Madinah, Riyadh and Dammam.
British pilgrims need a valid Umrah visa, which we process as part of your package. You'll need:
Once you send us these, our visa team handles submission, tracking and approval. Processing usually takes 24 hours to 5 working days.
Hotel distance depends on your package tier. Our 5-star hotels sit 0–300m from Masjid al-Haram, often with Haram-view rooms. 4-star hotels are typically 200–800m away, and 3-star hotels are a short walk or shuttle ride. For elderly pilgrims and families, we recommend the closest options to reduce walking.

The cheapest time is during off-peak months — Shawwal, Safar, and Rabi al-Awwal — and on midweek departures. Avoid Ramadan and UK school holidays, when flights and hotels cost the most. Booking 3–6 months in advance also lowers the price.
Yes — any Umrah package that includes flights is ATOL-protected. Our packages carry ATOL 12192, a financial protection scheme run by the UK Civil Aviation Authority that refunds you or brings you home if the operator fails.
Most pilgrims spend 7–10 days, which balances worship, rest and reflection. A short 3–5 day trip suits repeat or business travellers, while 12–14 days suits those wanting a deeper, unhurried experience.
Yes. You can confirm your booking with a small deposit and pay the balance in monthly instalments, with the final payment due before departure.
Yes. We arrange wheelchair support, airport assistance, priority boarding, and hotels closest to the Haram for elderly pilgrims, plus electric-cart services for Tawaf and Sa'i where needed.
Yes. Saudi Arabia no longer requires a mahram (male guardian) for women to obtain an Umrah or tourist visa. Women aged 18 and over can apply and travel solo or in a group, and we offer women-only and family group options. This is a visa rule rather than a religious ruling, so you may wish to consult a scholar from your school of thought.
Yes. The Saudi tourist eVisa can be used for Umrah, alongside the dedicated Umrah visa. The tourist eVisa allows multiple entries and travel around Saudi Arabia, while a dedicated Umrah visa is limited to the pilgrimage cities. We'll advise which suits your trip.
Umrah can be performed throughout most of the year. Saudi Arabia usually pauses new Umrah visa issuance for several weeks around the Hajj season and resumes shortly after Hajj ends. Outside that window you can travel any time — we confirm current entry dates before you book.
Hajj is the obligatory annual pilgrimage performed on fixed dates in Dhul-Hijjah, required once in a lifetime for every able Muslim. Umrah is a shorter, non-obligatory pilgrimage that can be performed almost any time of year and takes only a few hours to complete.
Yes. A Meningococcal (ACWY) vaccination certificate is mandatory for UK pilgrims entering Saudi Arabia. Other vaccinations may be recommended depending on your health and travel history. Confirm current requirements with the Saudi Ministry of Health or your GP before travelling.
The rituals — Ihram, Tawaf, Sa'i and trimming the hair — usually take two to four hours. Most pilgrims spend 7–10 days in Saudi Arabia overall to allow time for rest, repeat visits to the Haram, and Ziyarat.
Pack light: Ihram garments, comfortable footwear, regular medication, passport and travel documents, and some local currency. Most other items are easy to buy in Makkah and Madinah. You can carry up to 5 litres of Zamzam water on the return flight.
The difference is mainly hotel quality and distance from the Haram. 3-star packages use budget hotels a short shuttle ride away; 4-star hotels sit around 200–800m away, often with breakfast; 5-star hotels are 0–300m from the Haram, often with Haram-view rooms, full board and private transport.
Yes. Family packages include larger or interconnecting rooms, hotels close to the Haram, child-friendly facilities, and special assistance for elderly travellers. Group flights and transport keep families together throughout the trip.
Cancellation terms depend on how far ahead you cancel and which flights and hotels are booked. Full details are in our Terms & Conditions, and our team can confirm the terms for your specific booking.
